i love these wallpaper silhouettes! they are just too cute! each one is hand cut from vintage or designer wallpaper. personally, i really dig this potted plant silhouette. it would look just fab in my living room! (you can also choose from a lamp, chair or table silhouette). but any of these animals or trees would look amazing in amelia's safari-themed nursery! a.d.o.r.a.b.l.e.

santa sweaters

i am secretly (or maybe not so secretly) a huge fan of ugly clothes. i think that oftentimes, things are so ugly, they are cute. however, i have never been a fan of holiday-themed fashion. i have never worn a santa sweater or anything with a reindeer on it. but i'm thinking that maybe there is a way to make it cute. so i am on a mission now to find some cute holiday pieces. here's a few things i have found so far...

while this is not a specific holiday purse, it certainly has the colors and the festive look to it to be a themed handbag.

forgetful

(my favorite little reindeer)

these days before the christmas holiday really get to me. i feel like i have so much to do and so little time! i get extremely overwhelmed and feel like i will never get everything done. and with the little one crawling around i have even less time to finish all of my projects and shopping and decorating and baking. and blogging! i am always a bit envious of those people who seem to have it all together. they have all their shopping done the day after thanksgiving. their tree is up and their house is completely decorated and amazing. they have their cards in the mail and cookies baking in the oven. this is so not me...but i am working on it!

i also become a bit forgetful around this time! and yesterday i completely forgot to do the tuesday remix! i kind of had a feeling all day yesterday that there was something i was forgetting! then i woke up this morning and realized what it was...sorry everybody! luckily, my mom just called me and let me know that the birthday gifts she ordered for me have arrived! she is going to drop them off this afternoon and i plan to do a remix post with one of the items! look for that later today. better late than never, i suppose! 

now i am going to go dig my holiday decorations out of the basement and get started!
