For women, Burberry watches design inspired by the form of a pyramid, box, or square to show the dynamic side of contemporary urban women. The material is made of nickel, gold, or stainless steel with diamond detail.

under the weather (and a glimpse into my bedroom)

i'm home sick today. i have had this annoying cough (ask anyone i work with) that won't go away. after taking a cough suppressant and nyquil last night, and still not sleeping through the night (not to mention waking the whole family up), i decided a day at home and a doctor's visit were in store.

so this is where i will be spending the better part of my day...

ahhhh, cozy. sleep tight!

new loves and old friends

good morning! today is a good day! we went at looked at the space last night for "it's a date!" and i am so excited. it is more amazing than i remember, and with three crazy and imaginative brains, i think we are going to make this sale super cute! before we looked at the space, the lovely amanda and i did a little shopping. literally, just a little. we drove for miles, hitting closed upon closed thrift stores. we finally found a Unique store that was open and shopped around (until they closed 10 minutes later). i have to tell you, their prices are outrageous. i just kept thinking to myself that their prices are more expensive than ours (yes, that's a shameless plug..."shop the *it's a date* event...we're cheaper than most thrift stores!")

i did, however, find this gem of a vintage sweater. i do love it, so i will not bad talk Unique! i also happened to have some new shoes waiting for me at my doorstep when i got home last night...so while this is "new loves and old friends"....it's all kind of new to me today!

if you zoom in really close, you can see that i haven't shaved my legs for a while, so please don't zoom! and if you just look, without zooming in, you can see a lovely dog hair resting itself on my new shoe. *note: if your pet has extra long white hair, you will be covered in said hair about 362 days out of the year!

tuesday remix or why i don't straighten my hair

today's remix item is a wardrobe staple...the white tee! i know what you're thinking. really, nora? a white tee? boring!!! but no! they are so great and so versatile and everyone has one...plus, i'll admit, i was already wearing one today (the last outfit is my actual outfit today) so it was one less thing to worry about. i got my white tee at old navy a few years ago and i love it. i bought it in black as well and i wear them all the time. on a side note, i have been experimenting with my newly short hair and i mistakenly decided to straighten it today. not so cute...

new loves and old friends

i was running around like a chicken with my head cut off this morning when i realized...doh! i'm wearing vintage and modern...i need to take a picture! see, i work out after work, so all of my pictures need to be taken in the morning. unless i do a post about what i look like after working out (no thanks!) i know, i didn't need to take a picture. i am well aware that world order does not depend on me getting a daily post on the blog. let's just say that i wanted to take a picture. and somehow i did manage to get the pictures taken and still get everyone off to school on time (thanks again, tripod)!
